Mike is a seasoned entrepreneur and operator. Before joining Thena’s founding team, he co-founded Branch, which went on to raise over $500 million and became a category leader in the mobile attribution space. At Branch, Mike served as COO and President, overseeing all business and operations departments, and helped scale the company to thousands of customers and more than 500 employees.

One of the biggest challenges Mike faced while building Branch was also the most fundamental: customer communication. As businesses expanded, new communication channels like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and web chat emerged alongside established ones like email, causing the customer experience to fracture. What was once a direct line between companies and their customers became a maze of siloed tools, scattered data, and disconnected teams. Internal support, success, product, and sales teams struggled to stay aligned. For founders and executives, this fragmentation became a massive operational burden. Scaling efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer attention became increasingly difficult. The communication layer, the heartbeat of any business, was under strain.

That pain turned into conviction. Mike joined Thena to fix the B2B customer support problem once and for all. Today, Mike advises, invests in multiple startups, and oversees Thena’s go-to-market efforts with a sharp focus on how AI and modern operations can redefine how businesses support and grow customer relationships.
